We’re excited to celebrate our love with a Midwest pastime, a lake weekend in one of our favorite Michigan lake towns, New Buffalo. It’s just 70 minutes from Chicago and 40 minutes from Emily’s hometown, South Bend. Journeyman Distillery is a must on the New Buffalo bucket list, built in a renovated building that was once an 1800s buggy whip and corset factory. They are known for their amazing food and drinks, and even a putting green!
